18.11.2010 — Předávání cen Czech Press Photo 2010 se odehrálo dnes v podvečer, tradičně v Brožíkově sále Staroměstské radnice. Hlavní cenu převzal z rukou prezidenta republiky Václava Klause slovenský volný fotograf Martin Bandžák za snímek dívky zraněné po zemětřesení na Haiti – Magna Děti v tísni. Grant Prahy spojený s ročním tvůrčím stipendiem k nafocení metropole obdržel od primátora hl. m. Prahy Pavla Béma fotograf ČTK Roman Vondrouš, který uspěl i v dalších kategoriích.

28.9.2020 — Prague City Gallery manages several dozen public sculptures. Some of them can be found in Charles Square (Karlovo náměstí) in the city centre. Some of the most famous among them are the statue of the scientist, doctor, scholar and biologist Jan Evangelista Purkyně, the statue of the writer Eliška Krásnohorská and the statue of the writer Karolina Světlá.

20.10.2019 — Prague City Gallery has several dozen sculptures that are accessible to the public. We have already introduced some of them here on www.praha.eu. This time, we will look at Matyáš Bernard Braun's sculptures in Prague. The Austrian sculptor and woodcarver is one of the most important sculptors of the High Baroque period in the Czech Republic. Although he was not a Czech native, he created some of his most precious works in Bohemia.

23.1.2019 — Foreign visitors are a very important target group for Prague City Gallery. What can the Gallery offer them? Foreign visitors include individual tourists as well as group tours, school tours and students from abroad, and also guests that the gallery invites when cooperating with foreign institutions and on international projects. The main points of interest for foreign visitors are the architectural and historic Gallery buildings in the heart of the capital and the fascinating exhibitions. However, it is not only Prague City Gallery's exhibitions that make it the most accommodating institution, but also its educational work, and the smooth-running of the gallery.

24.1.2019 — On Friday, the 1st of February 2019, schoolchildren in the Czech Republic will enjoy a school break. As in previous years, children will participate in project Ledová Praha by visiting monuments, museums and other centres of heritage in Prague. Over the long weekend from the 1st to the 3rd of February, families and groups of children will collect their Ledová karta, a free card that grants free or reduced admission to many museums and galleries in Prague, (such as the National Museum, the Jewish Museum in Prague and the Czech Police Museum) and other places of interest (for example, Prague Castle, Strahov Library and Loreta Praha). This year, about thirty historical and cultural centres of heritage are taking part.

20.9.2021 — Rada hlavního města Prahy dnes schválila záměr veřejné zakázky s názvem "Instalace fotovoltaických systémů na bytové domy hl. m. Prahy". Předmětem veřejné zakázky je provedení pilotního projektu instalace fotovoltaických systémů na bytové domy hl. m. Prahy metodou Design & Build s cílem otestovat koncept společných výroben elektřiny tzv. komunitní energetiky.
