30.6.2010 — V souvislosti s pořádáním mezinárodního závodu světové série World Triathlete v dlouhém triatlonu Czech Bigman 2010 v neděli 4. července 2010 dojde k některým dopravním omezením na komunikacích hl. m. Prahy. Akce je pořádána pod záštitou primátora hl. m. Prahy.

20.10.2023 — Součástí mapy je podkladová základní mapa Prahy s vyznačením hranic katastrálních území a městských část a dále tematické vrstvy k ochraně přírody a krajiny v Praze - zvláště chráněná území hl. m. Prahy, území Natura 2000, registrované významné krajinné prvky a přírodní parky v Praze (akt. vydání - stav 6/2025). Mapa je součástí sady tematických map připravovaných v tištěné i elektronické podobě postupně od r. 2015.

20.10.2023 — Součástí mapy je podkladová základní mapa Prahy s vrstvou zvláště chráněných území hl. m. Prahy, území Natura 2000, registrovaných významných krajinných prvků a přírodních parků, Na tomto podkladu jsou prezentována vybraná zařízení k nakládání s komunálním odpadem v Praze, a to Sběrné dvory HMP, sběrné dvory městských částí, stabilní sběrny nebezpečného odpadu, kompostárny a stabilní sběrná místa pro sběr bioodpadu, třídicí linky, ZEVO Malešice a skládka Ďáblice. Mapa je součástí sady tematických map připravovaných v tištěné i elektronické podobě postupně od r. 2015.

28.2.2019 — The UN World Wildlife Day is traditionally celebrated on the 3rd of March.

7.4.2020 — A nationwide project to support theatres, concert halls, clubs and artists has been launched. 'NIC' tickets have been on sale since the 1st of April. 'Nic' means 'nothing' in Czech and that is the aim of this project - as cultural events cannot take place, cultural institutions and artists need your support. According to Hana Třeštíková, Prague City Councillor for Culture, Czech people are inventive, so instead of simply asking for donations, they came up with a plan to sell tickets for 'non-existing' cultural events, which will (not) take place on the 1st of May.

19.9.2019 — An exhibition dedicated to the 600th anniversary of the birth of the Czech king Wenceslas IV (Václav IV.) is on in the Imperial Stables of Prague Castle until the 3rd of November. It will display the era of his rule, as well as Gothic art and architecture from around 1400 AD.

25.10.2019 — The first official aerial sports championships in the Czech Republic and Slovakia will begin in Prague. You can come and see the elegant sport, where acrobats dance in the air with the aid of scarves, on the 26th of October in Královské Vinohrady. Aerobics and fitness are not as popular as adrenaline-filled sports. However, aerial acrobatics has recently experienced a great boom. And it's not just about the competition. Like any sport, aerial dancing can be practiced for fun.

26.9.2019 — RefuFest is a festival that creates space for people from all over the world to meet and express solidarity with refugees. Discover other cultures thanks to music, dance, theatre and other forms of cultural expression. The festival will take place in Invalidovna in Karlín in Prague on the 27th and 28th of September, while Thursday the 27th of September is reserved for schools.

23.1.2019 — Foreign visitors are a very important target group for Prague City Gallery. What can the Gallery offer them? Foreign visitors include individual tourists as well as group tours, school tours and students from abroad, and also guests that the gallery invites when cooperating with foreign institutions and on international projects. The main points of interest for foreign visitors are the architectural and historic Gallery buildings in the heart of the capital and the fascinating exhibitions. However, it is not only Prague City Gallery's exhibitions that make it the most accommodating institution, but also its educational work, and the smooth-running of the gallery.

9.4.2019 — Bulgarian filmmakers will once again bring their latest feature films and documentaries to the Czech metropolis.

24.1.2019 — On Friday, the 1st of February 2019, schoolchildren in the Czech Republic will enjoy a school break. As in previous years, children will participate in project Ledová Praha by visiting monuments, museums and other centres of heritage in Prague. Over the long weekend from the 1st to the 3rd of February, families and groups of children will collect their Ledová karta, a free card that grants free or reduced admission to many museums and galleries in Prague, (such as the National Museum, the Jewish Museum in Prague and the Czech Police Museum) and other places of interest (for example, Prague Castle, Strahov Library and Loreta Praha). This year, about thirty historical and cultural centres of heritage are taking part.

6.12.2009 — Primátor hl. m. Prahy Pavel Bém převzal záštitu nad 13. ročníkem mezinárodního halového turnaje tenistů na vozíku „Prague Cup Czech Indoor 2009“ a dnes odpoledne předal cenu nejlepšímu v kategorii mužů. Vítězství a již čtvrtý turnajový titul v pořadí získal Stefan Olsson ze Švédska po výhře nad slovenským reprezentantem Jozefem Felixem.
