15.11.2019 — On Sunday, the 17th of November, Prague Zoo will present an exhibition for people with sight loss, as well as for others to understand what it's like to perceive a zoo with senses other than sight.

3.10.2017 — Startup World Cup & Summit zná finalisty i program. Do Prahy přiletí tvůrce Angry Birds a bude se soutěžit o investici více než 1 milion dolarů. Do středoevropského kola, ze kterého vzejde zástupce pro světové finále a kterému poskytla záštitu primátorka hl. m. Prahy Adriana Krnáčová, se dostaly tři startupy z České republiky. Po jednom zástupci má Maďarsko, Slovensko, Nizozemsko, Polsko, Rakousko a Německo, posledního – desátého – finalistu vybere speciální porota ze zbylých 41 projektů z TOP 50 až v den konání SWCS, tedy 17. října v pražské Lucerně.

31.8.2020 — Vipera berus, the common European adder or common European viper, is the only venomous snake that can be found in the Czech Republic. The third generation was bred in Prague Zoo in August and visitors can admire the baby snakes in the part of the zoo called 'Zakázanka'.

7.4.2020 — When the coronavirus pandemic is over, you can treat yourself with a trip to explore underground Vyšehrad where the treasure from Charles Bridge can be found.

15.7.2019 — Prague Exhibition Grounds welcomes visitors to the summer season. Besides attractions for children, sports opportunities and picnic spots, a summer garden restaurant and a new bistro are also open. Now, visitors can enter the lower part of the Grounds directly from Stromovka. In addition to continuing works on bigger investment projects, smaller-scale improvements are gradually being completed.

16.6.2019 — At the beginning of May, two rare Chacoan peccary piglets (called Wagner's peccary in Czech from their scientific name Catagonus wagner) were born in Prague Zoo. Now visitors can see them with their parents in outside enclosure at the top of the zoo. This is a great zoological event: the Chacoan peccary has existed since prehistoric times and was only known from archaeological evidence until the 1970s.

30.4.2019 — Originating from a pagan feast, 'pálení čarodějnic' or 'čarodějnice' for short, a Czech version of Saint Walpurgis Night, has become a folk custom and tradition.

10.8.2019 — The Náprstek Museum of Asian, African and American Cultures recently opened a new exhibition 'On the banks of the Nile' ('Na břehu Nilu' in Czech), showing visitors the history of ancient Egypt and Nubia.

16.3.2019 — Prague is preparing for greater St. Patrick's Day celebrations than ever before. The main attraction will be the festive parade on Sunday the 17th of March, which begins and ends in Campus Hybernská, where the other main celebrations will be held. According to the legend, Saint Patrick, the Patron Saint of Ireland, converted the people of Ireland to Christianity in the fifth century.

4.11.2021 — Organický odpad, který byl dosud z Pražské tržnice týdně svážen v klasických hnědých popelnicích, bude nyní přímo v areálu přeměněn na hodnotný kompost. Speciální kompostér Rocket pojme stovky litrů organického odpadu týdně ze zeleninového trhu v Hale 22, v budoucnu pak i zbytky jídla a kávy z kaváren a restaurací v areálu, food truckové zóny či jednorázových kulturních akcí, včetně kompostovatelného jednorázového nádobí.
