23.6.2020 — Prague Music Festival ('Praha Žije Hudbou') will take place between the 25th and 27th of June. 150 musicians will take part in the fifth year of the street art festival, playing in the streets, squares and parks of Prague. 15.4.2020 — The Czech Technical University in Prague and the Czech Academy of Sciences have developed and tested a new protective respirator half mask in Prague. It fits better than FFP2 respirators, which are imported from Asia and are less effective in Europe due to their different shape.

19.1.2010 — The Residence of the Mayor of Prague is located in the new building of the Municipal Library, which was built between the years 1925 and 1928 by Prague Municipal Savings Bank as a gift for the capital city on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of its existence and also to mark the 10th anniversary of the Czechoslovak Republic.

20.10.2019 — Prague City Gallery has several dozen sculptures that are accessible to the public. We have already introduced some of them here on www.praha.eu. This time, we will look at Matyáš Bernard Braun's sculptures in Prague. The Austrian sculptor and woodcarver is one of the most important sculptors of the High Baroque period in the Czech Republic. Although he was not a Czech native, he created some of his most precious works in Bohemia.

4.2.2022 — I přes všechna omezení navštívilo v loňském roce kulturní akce v Pražské tržnici více než 150 000 návštěvníků, posluchačů a diváků. Letošní program bude v Tržnici ale ještě obsáhlejší. Odehrají se tu desítky akcí a festivalů včetně Mercede-Benz Prague Fashion Week nebo koncertu Tomáše Kluse, reprízy Neviditelné tržnice pak uvede divadelní projekt Pomezí. V Hale 17 přitom už tento týden odstartovala unikátní výstava Světy české animace od tvůrců úspěšných filmových výstav, jako byl Tim Burton a jeho svět nebo Pixar - 30 let animace. K vidění bude výstava až do července.

Foreign visitors include individual tourists as well as group tours, school tours and students from abroad, and also guests that the gallery invites when cooperating with foreign institutions and on international projects. The main points of interest for foreign visitors are the architectural and historic Gallery buildings in the heart of the capital and the fascinating exhibitions. 6.8.2024 — Tento týden je poslední, kdy je možné navštívit výstavu Group Therapy v Domě U Kamenného zvonu, a Galerie hlavního města Prahy se rozhodla nabídnout návštěvníkům vstup na výstavu zdarma.

16.5.2024 — Od čtvrtka 16. května 2024 je v Galerii Ambit na Jungmannově náměstí k vidění výstava těch nejlepších fotografických snímků metropole ze soutěže Praha fotografická.

23.10.2023 — PROGRAMME SUBSIDIES FOR 2024 BY PRAGUE CITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION No. 2244 OF 16 OCTOBER 2023, THE CITY OF PRAGUE HAS ANNOUNCED CITY OF PRAGUE SUBSIDIES FOR THE "TOURISM SUPPORT PROGRAMME FOR 2024" The subsidies are intended for supporting congresses, conferences and other events held within the City of Prague in the period from 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2024.
