7.8.2019 — The International festival Letní Letná will bring the magical world of new circus in its various forms to Prague for the sixteenth time. The festival will take place from the 14th of August to the 1st of September.

7.5.2018 — In 2018, Prague Spring will offer about 50 concerts that will excite lovers of the big orchestral sound, admirers of chamber music, contemporary music fans, and those who enjoy following the latest trends in the informed interpretation of the music of past eras. The festival takes place from 12 May to 3 June.

24.3.2019 — In the 'Mytologická chodba' (Mythological Corridor) of the 'Valdštejnský palác' (Wallenstein Palace), which is the seat of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, there is a unique exhibition of gifts that Senators have received from foreign delegations over the past twenty years. Gift exchanges are a traditional part of meetings of state officials with delegations from abroad. This diplomatic protocol was applied in Antiquity and its first written record is from the Congress of Vienna in 1815.

23.12.2018 — It is traditionally celebrated at midnight on Christmas Eve, in various locations in the Capital. 'Czech Christmas Mass', also known as Hej mistře! ('Hey Master!'), popularly called Rybovka, and in Latin Missa solemnis Festis Nativitatis D. J. Ch. acomodata in linguam bohemicam musicam, abriviated to Missa pastoralis bohemika, is a Czech religious composition written by Jakub Jan Ryba. It is the first written liturgical composition in Czech. Rybovka is a pastoral play set in Czechia that narrates the story of the Annunciation of Christ's birth and the arrival of shepherds to the manger in the stable. It was composed in 1796 and hand-written copies quickly spread throughout the Kingdom of Bohemia. The original score has not been preserved, and the versions that are played today are compiled based on critical analyses of the hand-written copies.

27.2.2020 — At a press conference held following the meeting of the State Security Council, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Tomáš Petříček said that the infection of Czech citizens and fellow citizens abroad has not yet been confirmed. He asks Czech citizens to register in the Drozd system, at: https://drozd.mzv.cz , before travelling abroad, so they can be contacted if necessary.

Prahy rozšířenou provozní dobu odboru služeb pro agendy Czech POINT, ověřování, evidence vozidel taxi a hlavní podatelny ve Škodově paláci. 18.9.2020 — On the 19th and the 20th of September, a spectacular re-enactment of the Battle of White Mountain (Bitva na Bílé hoře), which was fought 400 years ago, will take place in Prague 6, along with an accompanying programme and a historic market. Hundreds of enthusiasts from all over Europe will take part in the event introducing a dramatic episode of Czech history. The reconstruction of the battle, which was a turning point for the Czech lands, is organised by the Bílá hora 1620 association. The re-enactment, which is one of the largest events of its kind in Europe, aims for the highest level of authenticity possible.

25.3.2020 — The lack of face masks in Prague has led to a huge wave of solidarity, as people make marks at home and give them to their fellow citizens. However, masks must be sterilised and effectively distributed.

15.4.2020 — The Czech Technical University in Prague and the Czech Academy of Sciences have developed and tested a new protective respirator half mask in Prague. It fits better than FFP2 respirators, which are imported from Asia and are less effective in Europe due to their different shape.

19.6.2007 — Největší prezentace Prahy v USA od roku 1989 a jedna z největších prezentací České republiky ve Spojených státech vůbec probíhá od začátku června v Chicagu. Při sérii kulturních, společenských, krajanských a dalších propagačních akcí vystoupily a ještě vystoupí desítky našich umělců. Sochař David Černý například v Chicagu nainstaluje sochu Man Hanging Out, průřez svou tvorbou představí Oldřich Kulhánek, vystoupí i Ondřej Havelka a jeho Melody Makers. Pražská informační služba spolu s Czech Investem nabízí americkým zástupcům turistického ruchu Prahu i Českou republiku jako atraktivní turistický cíl, proběhne Czech-US Business Seminar a k atraktivním částem dnů patří také historická výstava „Češi v Americe“.

3.9.2019 — The theme of Science Festival 2019 is science in professions. Science Festival ('Festival vědy' in Czech) is a joint project by universities, academic and leisure institutions. It will take place on the 4th of September this year.

27.9.2023 — Proslulý cyklus koncertů Symfonického orchestru hlavního města Prahy FOK s názvem Stará hudba zahájí 10. října 2023 od 19:30 hodin v kostele sv. Šimona a Judy v Praze dirigent Roman Válek se svým souborem Czech Ensemble Baroque. Na programu je zařazena suita Znějící zeměpis, sestavená především z hudby Georga Philippa Telemanna, ale i dalších autorů.

4.1.2019 — On Sunday, the 6th of January 2019, the Epiphany, you will have the opportunity to witness a special procession of the Three Wise Men (the Three Kings) on camels in the streets of the Czech Capital. The parade will proceed from Malostranské náměstí via Karlův most (Charles Bridge) to the Staroměstské náměstí (Old Town Square), where the Jakub Jan Ryba's 'Czech Christmas Mass' (Česká mše vánoční) will be played and sung, concluding the procession and the Christmas season.

1.12.2007 — Zítra 2. prosince 2007 se v tenisovém areálu Club Hotelu Praha uskuteční 11. ročník mezinárodního halového turnaje v tenise na vozíku „Prague Cup Czech Indoor 2007.“ Hlavní město Praha je spolupořadatelem této akce a na jedenáctý ročník poskytlo 350 tisíc korun. Pražský primátor Pavel Bém se zítra zúčastní finálového zápasu dvouhry hlavní kategorie mužů, následně pak ve 14.30 hodin vyhlásí výsledky a předá ceny vítězům mužské dvouhry i čtyřhry.
