21.6.2008 — Prague is one of the most important hubs of railway transport in the Czech Republic for long-distance journeys and for suburban transport. Recent investments in this ecological means of transport aim to enhance its influence within the city and suburban public transport.

20.7.2017 — Dopravní podnik hl. m. Prahy (DPP) mění firmu na pronájem reklamních ploch na 300 autobusech MHD. Dne 26. června 2017 uzavřel smlouvu se společností Czech Outdoor, která tak poprvé po dvaceti letech střídá firmu Rencar. Změnu umožnilo výběrového řízení, ve kterém Czech Outdoor podal druhou nejvyšší nabídku ve výši 1,6 milionu korun.

8.7.2019 — On Saturday, the 13th of July, the oldest European streetball tournament - Prague International Streetball Cup - returns for its 17th year. The competition will take place in the heart of Prague, in Můstek in Wenceslas Square.

12.6.2024 — V sobotu 15. června 2024 se z pražského Strahova vydá na různě dlouhé trasy až 3500 amatérských cyklistů.

30.9.2010 — V rámci rekonstrukce, která proběhla na ÚMČ Praha 4 a vyžádala si investici 2,8 miliónu korun, je od dubna 2008 i pracoviště ověřování a Czech POINT na radnici Prahy 4, bezbariérové. Prostory jsou přístupné přímo z Táborské ulice. Občané zde naleznou pokladnu úřadu, pracoviště ověřování podpisů a listin a především stále využívanější Czech POINT.

30.6.2011 — V neděli 3. července 2011 se v Praze bude konat již 5. ročník tradičního mezinárodního závodu v dlouhém triatlonu „Czech Bigman 2011“, který je zařazen mezi nejprestižnější závody světové série. Akce je pořádána pod záštitou náměstka primátora hl. m. Prahy Antonína Weinerta. Cyklistická část tohoto závodu povede po Strakonické ulici a vyžádá si dopravní omezení na této komunikaci.

28.8.2017 — Hlavní město Praha podporuje rozvoj digitálního vzdělávání na středních školách, které zřizuje. Zavádění digitálních technologií do škol je pro metropoli jednou z hlavních priorit. Dnes, 28. srpna 2017, byl učiněn další krok. Hlavní město Praha zastoupené radní Irenou Ropkovou, Ministerstvo školství, mládeže a tělovýchovy reprezentované náměstkem ministra školství Jaroslavem Fidrmucem a za Czech ICT Alliance Michal Zálešák podepsali Memorandum o spolupráci.

1.4.2019 — In April, 'Mladí Ladí Jazz', the annual International Youth Jazz Festival in Prague, will bring seven evenings of concerts where world renowned stars will be performing, workshops and, of course, the traditional youth competition 'Jazzfruit'. The festival is looking for talents in contemporary jazz and the experimental scene from the Czech Republic and abroad, and introduce them to the public. Its main goal is to bring the attention of a young audience back to jazz music and restore traditions of this music in the Czech Republic.

29.6.2020 — 'Thank you Czech technicians' is an exhibition in the National Technical Museum, which expresses their gratitude to Czechs technicians for their help during the coronavirus pandemic. The exhibition will be open in the museum building in Letná until the 30th of September.

31.1.2020 — The exhibition at Prague Castle's Imperial Stables ('Císařská konírna') displays portraits by Czech artists starting with Josef Mánes, who was born 200 years ago this year. The exhibition, which was organised in cooperation with the Office of The President of the Republic, Prague Castle Administration and the Manes Association of Fine Artists, will run until the 22nd of March 2020.

Prahy, území Natura 2000, registrované významné krajinné prvky a přírodní parky v Praze (akt. vydání - stav 6/2025). Mapa je součástí sady tematických map připravovaných v tištěné i elektronické podobě postupně od r. 2015.

Prahy, území Natura 2000, registrovaných významných krajinných prvků a přírodních parků, Na tomto podkladu jsou prezentována vybraná zařízení k nakládání s komunálním odpadem v Praze, a to Sběrné dvory HMP, sběrné dvory městských částí, stabilní sběrny nebezpečného odpadu, kompostárny a stabilní sběrná místa pro sběr bioodpadu, třídicí linky, ZEVO Malešice a skládka Ďáblice. Mapa je součástí sady tematických map připravovaných v tištěné i elektronické podobě postupně od r. 2015.

7.4.2020 — A nationwide project to support theatres, concert halls, clubs and artists has been launched. 'NIC' tickets have been on sale since the 1st of April. 'Nic' means 'nothing' in Czech and that is the aim of this project - as cultural events cannot take place, cultural institutions and artists need your support. According to Hana Třeštíková, Prague City Councillor for Culture, Czech people are inventive, so instead of simply asking for donations, they came up with a plan to sell tickets for 'non-existing' cultural events, which will (not) take place on the 1st of May.

19.9.2019 — An exhibition dedicated to the 600th anniversary of the birth of the Czech king Wenceslas IV (Václav IV.) is on in the Imperial Stables of Prague Castle until the 3rd of November. It will display the era of his rule, as well as Gothic art and architecture from around 1400 AD.

25.10.2019 — The first official aerial sports championships in the Czech Republic and Slovakia will begin in Prague. You can come and see the elegant sport, where acrobats dance in the air with the aid of scarves, on the 26th of October in Královské Vinohrady. Aerobics and fitness are not as popular as adrenaline-filled sports. However, aerial acrobatics has recently experienced a great boom. And it's not just about the competition. Like any sport, aerial dancing can be practiced for fun.

Discover other cultures thanks to music, dance, theatre and other forms of cultural expression. Foreign visitors include individual tourists as well as group tours, school tours and students from abroad, and also guests that the gallery invites when cooperating with foreign institutions and on international projects. The main points of interest for foreign visitors are the architectural and historic Gallery buildings in the heart of the capital and the fascinating exhibitions. However, it is not only Prague City Gallery's exhibitions that make it the most accommodating institution, but also its educational work, and the smooth-running of the gallery.

9.4.2019 — Bulgarian filmmakers will once again bring their latest feature films and documentaries to the Czech metropolis.

24.1.2019 — On Friday, the 1st of February 2019, schoolchildren in the Czech Republic will enjoy a school break. As in previous years, children will participate in project Ledová Praha by visiting monuments, museums and other centres of heritage in Prague. Over the long weekend from the 1st to the 3rd of February, families and groups of children will collect their Ledová karta, a free card that grants free or reduced admission to many museums and galleries in Prague, (such as the National Museum, the Jewish Museum in Prague and the Czech Police Museum) and other places of interest (for example, Prague Castle, Strahov Library and Loreta Praha). This year, about thirty historical and cultural centres of heritage are taking part.

6.12.2009 — Primátor hl. m. Prahy Pavel Bém převzal záštitu nad 13. ročníkem mezinárodního halového turnaje tenistů na vozíku „Prague Cup Czech Indoor 2009“ a dnes odpoledne předal cenu nejlepšímu v kategorii mužů. Vítězství a již čtvrtý turnajový titul v pořadí získal Stefan Olsson ze Švédska po výhře nad slovenským reprezentantem Jozefem Felixem.
