Summer of music in Prague starts off with a bang!
19.6.2019 — There will be over 40 unique concerts at the fourth annual pop and rock Metronome Festival Prague. The festival will take place on the 21st and 22nd of June in Prague Exhibition Grounds and this year's programme will once again be filled with music stars, both from the Czech Republic and abroad. A great accompanying programme will be part of the festival. 29.2.2020 — Prague Conservatory invites you to an incredible musical experience on the 2nd of March, when you will get the chance to enjoy the composer Camille Saint-Saëns's works in their representative hall. Students of the Prague Conservatory and the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (HAMU) organised the concert. They formed the orchestra and they will present three instrumental compositions by the French master.

9.11.2017 — Japan Week is a festival focused on the presentation and promotion of the Japanese culture and art around the world and interchange between the nations. The Japanese foundation (IFF) International Friendship Foundation has been organising Japan Week already for 31 years - every year in a different country.

3.1.2019 — Štefánikova hvězdárna (The Štefánik Observatory), Planetárium Praha (The Prague Planetarium) and Hvězdárna Ďáblice (The Ďáblice Observatory) have a new platform. They no longer need to be individually searched for under long and confusing names, as was the case in the past. Now, you can find them under one name: Planetum, with a single webpage and a unified presentation.

Prague City Hall to resume operation with increased health and safety requirements
20.4.2020 — According to the Czech Ministry of Health, regular public office hours can resume in Prague City Hall on Monday, the 20th of April. Strict health and safety requirements will be in place during City Hall's office hours, but electronic communication is still recommended whenever possible.
