Financial Policy, Physical Training and Sport, Drug-Related Issues, External Affairs

Financial Policy with the focus on:

• Preparation of preliminary budgets and periodic financial reports
• Supervision of measures ensuring budgetary balance in the course of the year
• Contact with financial institutions when managing the City’s finances
• Work with external sources in the City’s budget
• Determination of financial relations between the City of Prague and Metropolitan Districts
• Preparation of the City’s budgetary and investment outlook
• Proposals how to finance the City’s investment plans
• Co-operation when assigning the City‘s audit and evaluation of its results

Physical training and Sport with the focus on:

• Activities in the sphere of physical training, co-operation with relevant institutions and civic associations
• Coordination of preparatory activities related to the submission of a bid to host the Summer Olympic Games in Prague

External Affairs with the focus on:

• Coordination of foreign policy relations
• Relations with other regional and municipal subjects in the CR
• Coordination of relations towards Prague Municipal Districts
• Coordination of relations towards the Parliament of the CR, Government of the CR, Ministries and other state administration bodies
• Awards of honours and honorary citizenships of the City of Prague
• Use of the City of Prague’s emblem and flag
