Anděl Pedestrian Zone attracts street food lovers
Food lovers can look forward to the 'Fresh & Deli market' street food festival, which will take place at the Anděl Pedestrian Zone in Smíchov on Wednesday the 10th of June. Street food festivals, including those that celebrate particular dishes and cuisines, are becoming more and more popular and trendy.
International cuisine
The festival at Anděl offers food lovers delicacies from all around the world. The pedestrian zone will be filled with the scents of various Mexican specialities, including tacos, quesadillas, burritos and nachos.
The festival will also please lovers of Indonesian cuisine. A variety of hot sauces with typical side dishes such as noodles or rice, and fried fish or chicken, will make your taste buds dance!
There will also be Thai, Eastern European and vegan dishes.
Olives of all kinds will also be available - large and small, black and green, natural and pickled. French saucissons, Dutch cheeses, ajvar, pesto, chillies and many other delicacies will be also on offer, along with fruit, vegetables, fresh flowers and seeds. There will definitely be something for everyone!
Handmade products
Stalls selling handmade products will also be at the festival. You can purchase items made from recycled glass, handmade diaries, eco-friendly shopping bags, pottery and more.
Prague 5 Youth Centre has prepared a creative workshop, where young visitors will have lots of fun while creating something beautiful.
